Antonio Cianci graduated in electronic engineering having specialized in physical mathematics; he is advisor for the diffusion of innovation to the minister for public administration and innovation. He developed the i2012 – Strategie per l’innovazione project and the Italia degli innovatori project for the Shanghai Expo.
He designed the first portal for the Milan city council in 1999 and collaborated on the planning of the second in 2006.
He was advisor to the minister Lucio Stanca for the preparation of the programme of the department for innovation and technology.
He is an expert in the field of inventions (he wrote a highly successful book, published by De Agostino, called Eureka – 100 inventori + 100 invenzioni che ci hanno cambiato la vita).
He is currently working on the second volume and an edition for children, as well as a television adaption. Again for De Agostino, he is chief editor of the “Italian Genius” project for the promotion of Italian genius in the world.
